CPR and Defibrillator Demonstration

When somebody suffers a heart attack, every second counts and quick access to a defibrillator (AED) can save a life.

To help you understand and familiarise yourself with how a defibrillator works, South Darley Parish Council invites local residents to a FREE 1 hour CPR and Defibrillator demonstration.

The session will be held on Wednesday 18th March 2026 from 7pm in South Darley Village Hall. Full details can be found on the poster below.

To book a place, please email the Parish Clerk at clerk@southdarleyparishcouncil.gov.uk
Please provide your name, contact details and the number of spaces you require.

There is no charge for this event, but donations on the night will be gratefully received for the East Midlands Ambulance Community Training Team.

Residents of the South Darley Parish will be prioritised for this event. Should there be any seats remaining, these will be offered to anyone living outside the parish closer to the time of the event.

There are 5 public defibrillators in the South Darley Parish which can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Details about the defibrillators and where to find them can be found here: Defibrillator (AED) locations | South Darley Parish Council.
