There are currently 16 full plots of which several have been split into half plots to give more people access to an allotment.
There are currently no plots available and there is a waiting list. They do become available from time to time so it is well worth getting on the waiting list. Priority for allocations is given to parish residents, see the policy on the future allocation of allotments.
Please contact us if you want more information, or would like to be added to the waiting list.
Tenants must sign an Allotment Agreement which sets out their responsibilities, and those of the council.
The landowner of the allotments is Derby Diocese, from whom the council rents the land. Plot rental fees enable the council to pay the diocese and cover administration costs.
Inspection of the allotments takes place twice a year to ensure that tenants are adhering to the regulations re cultivation etc.
