Buses
The 172 service by Hulley’s runs to Matlock from Wensley, via Darley Bridge and Darley Dale, and to Bakewell from Darley Bridge via Wensley, Winster, Elton, Birchover, Stanton in Peak and Haddon Hall.
There are also morning and evening school-day buses between Elton/Winster and Highfields School, Matlock via Wensley, Darley Bridge and Darley Dale run by Yorkshire Stagecoach (see timetables for 169 and 470).
