The new defibrillator at Snitterton is now fully installed and available to use. It has also been registered on ‘the circuit’ – the nationwide database for defibrillator locations. This means that the East Midlands Ambulance Service will be able to direct callers to its location.
The defibrillator is fully automated and a voice talks through its use step by step. It is designed so that anyone can use it, even without training. It is situated on the garage wall of Bullring Cottage, in Snitterton, DE4 2JG.
The yellow box is clearly visible from the road and is illuminated at night. The cabinet does not need a code to open, making it quicker to access the defibrillator. If you live nearby please take the opportunity to familiarize yourself with its location.
We would like to thank everyone who has very generously supported this campaign. A special thanks goes to Julian and Ann who have agreed to ‘host’ the cabinet on their garage to supply the trickle feed of electricity the cabinet requires.
