Parish Walk

The parish council organised a guided walk around the parish for residents on the early May Bank Holiday. A group of 30 of us (plus 7 dogs) left the South Darley Village Hall in Cross Green, at 11.00. We skirted Oker Hill, passing Oker and Snitterton and then made our way up Wensley Dale for a picnic at Wensley Reading Rooms, before walking back down to Darley Bridge. By all accounts it was an enjoyable social occasion and the weather was kind to us.

Here is the Route of the Parish Walk.
