Citizens Advice Derbyshire Districts are looking for four enthusiastic individuals to join our board of trustees. They sent us the following message:
We welcome applications from individuals of all walks of life; our aim is for a diverse board so no specific skills or experience are required. The role is suitable for everyone, whether you’re looking to retire and give back to your local community, interested in exploring other avenues in your working life, or just starting a career and interested in expanding your skills.
You would be pivotal in helping to lead the charity and support the management team in developing our services and securing the vital resources we need to meet demand and provide our local communities with free and impartial advice. The role is voluntary, with reasonable expenses met, and requires a few hours of commitment a month. Given the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, most of the initial induction and upcoming board meetings will be conducted virtually.
